Welcome to Kona Pacific Public Charter School!
We are part of a proud tradition of international Waldorf education that is now 101 years young! At Kona Pacific we have the privilege of educating children and young adults according to deeply insightful principles of child development, integrating the academics and the arts, social-emotional, character-building and mindfulness practices with effective communication and life skills, with hands-on experiences in movement, Hawaiian cultural practices, and sustainable land stewardship. At Kona Pacific we have the privilege of educating children and young adults according to deeply insightful scientific principles of child development. Our innovative program integrates academic rigor and the arts; cultivates social-emotional, character-building and mindfulness practices with effective communication and life skills; and provides hands-on experiences in gardening and movement. Indoor and outdoor kindergartens that teach our children practical life skills as well as the basic foundation that will be built on in the first grade, with focus on the whole child, social, emotional and academic. This holistic approach nurtures the well-being of the young child in their first school experience.

Class teachers often move with their students multiple years through the journey of the grades beginning in first grade.
