Kona Pacific is a tuition-free public Waldorf-inspired charter school. Our beautiful campus is located on the west coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, in Kealakekua.

Rolling Admissions
Students applying through May 21st for the current 2023-2024 school year will be placed in classes as spaces are available.
Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for Preschool for the 2024-2025 School Year will start January 9th and will close on April 26th, 2024. Completed applications received by March 31st will be considered 1st. Completed applications received between April 1st and April 28, 2024 will be considered second.
Open Enrollment for Kindergarten - 8th Grade for the 2024-2025 school year will start as of February 1st, 2024 and will close on March 31st, 2024. Our lottery for applicants in each class will be held the first week of April, 2024. Parents will be notified of the results of the lottery soon thereafter, and notified of the official placement in classes for the 2024-2025 school year on or after June 1, 2024.
In Between
Post-Open Enrollment / Pre-Rolling Admissions: April 1 to May 31. Applications for the 2024-2025 school year received after March 31 will be placed on the class list on a “first-come, first-served” basis within their Enrollment Priority group after the students who applied during the Open Enrollment period. These applicants will likewise be placed into the class as spaces are available beginning June 1, 2024
