Kona Pacific is a tuition-free public Waldorf-inspired charter school. Our beautiful campus is located on the west coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, in Kealakekua.​

Open Enrollment
School Year 2026-2027
Open Enrollment for Preschool will start January 6th. Completed applications received by March 31st will be considered in the 1st round of the Preschool lottery. Completed applications received between April 1st and April 30 will be considered second.
Open Enrollment for Kindergarten - 8th Grade will start as of February 1st. The lottery for Kindergarten - 8th Grade will be held the first week of April. Parents will be notified of the results of the lottery soon thereafter, and will be notified of the official placement in classes on or after June 1, 2026.

Post lottery applications received between April 1st - May 31 will be placed on the waitlist on a "first come first-served" basis within the enrollment priority groups as outlined in our school admission policy. ​​
